Lead guitar, trumpet, and vocals

Craig has been playing (and making merry)
music since he was a child, and is, in his
own mind - and quite a few other minds as
well - a guitar "quasi-hero." You could say
he’s the “pit” at the core of the Peach (but that
doesn't actually sound so cool). His abilities on
the 6-string – however – are very cool, and his
musical agility is at times quite astounding. It’s
often difficult to anticipate where one of Craig’s
blistering solos may take you as he deftly weaves his magic into the musical tapestry with his unique tones and sounds. Craig can really cook-up the jam – be it seductive and subtle, or gnarly and crushing. Come down and see “Fleck the Flame” fry some peach ... and find out if he really is a 12-fingered mutant sent to Earth to scorch the brains and enliven the souls of the inhabitants.

Bass guitar, rhythm guitar, vocals,
and the occasional drum

Jon comes from a family of musicians in which his mother, twin sisters, and his 17.5 sons all play and/or sing. Jon’s talents run deep and wide (even amok) and he is a very capable multi-instrumentalist, handling bass, rhythm guitar, and occasionally some fine drumming chores for the Peach. His emotionally charged singing and solid bass playing helps hold the band on track, and he specializes in bringing the boys back from the brink of deep space safely and with a sense of timing that only a solid gold Rolex could match. He’s fond of making such profound statements about the band as, “we have all the right parts but are missing some of the screws.”

Rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and vocals

Ritchie’s deadhead past clearly influences
and defines his musical tastes of today
- and probably is also to blame for that
far-away look in his eyes. Ritchie’s
fondness for the slow 'grateful' ballads,
as well as those good ole GD rockers,
often fuels the band to places they
never thought they'd go – and boldly
go they do! His philosophy of music
is a cornerstone of the band, and he firmly
believes that a ‘toasted mind’ deserves only the finest
jam. Lately, he's been heard uttering gibberish and nonsense
syllables, as well as statements with simple but meaningful subtleties, such as,
"it’s all about fresh jam, man." So, call him the "jammin' jam-man" if you must, but don't expect a wordy answer ... then again he may very well surprise you.

Keyboards and vocals

Pete is a seasoned veteran, having played in marching bands since just after the US Civil War. He's performed his musical magic with various outfits throughout the country, paying his dues in the dank cities of Michigan, the hard crust slums of Baltimore, and in the back alleys of Vegas. Yet despite all the ground he's covered, he's rarely lost his sense of direction … and that direction has been ever-forward (only because you can never go back). When he's not “practicing” law in San Diego, he's practicing his musical licks while propelling the peach to soaring new highs, both vocally and organ-ic-ly. The addition of Pete's tasty touch on keys and his powerful singing abilities has energized his Peach mates, and takes the music to a new level of peachiness.

Vocals, backing harmony, and whistling

Dixie is a singer extraordinaire, and she's been vocalizing since early childhood (but haven't we all?). However in Dixie's case, she can actually carry a tune - and sadly, most of the world cannot. This is of great benefit to “Team Peach,” and thanks to some early training and her participation in the Boise all-star children's choir, she sings like an “angel from on high.” Having lived in many places around the States, Dixie thrives on diversity, and she brings an eclectic background to the pie crust - a whiff of southern Georgia peach (Florida is pretty close after all), a touch of Hawaiian island vibe, and a nibble of Pacific Northwest coolness - making her vocal styling (and constant smiling) a fine addition to the peach-jam.

Drums, percussion, cowbell

Peter “the drummer” is the strong, vital, handsome, youngster of the band - some fresh peach, so to speak. Everyone loves the way Peter pounds it out with such command and authority, which has helped him quickly gain a following of avid admirers. Though still in his 20s, he's hoping to “fly higher” and wants to become an astronaut like his Great Uncle Buzz. His dream is to one day gain a PhD in astrophysics, which will certainly complement his degrees in film composition and music theory quite nicely. Despite all that, the elders of Peach are very pleased to have his “youngblood infusion” catapulting the music into high gear and they feel years younger every time that Peter keeps time (which is most of the time). And, he will never disappoint when the crowd cries out for, “more cowbell!”

Congas, Percussion, Drums,
Occasional Vocals, and Smiley Faces

Grant's no stranger to the world of
music making, and his very first gig was
way back in 1965, at Peggy W's fifth-grade
house party. It garnered him five bucks and
a pretty good make-out session with the girls.
Since then, Grant has played in many-a band,
delving into diverse styles of music, and playing
with a long list of accomplished professionals.
After a hiatus from show business, Grant once
again sought to reconnect with that good ole
“fifth-grade feeling.” As fortune and luck would
have it, earlier this year he fell into the rock and
roll ranks with Giant Peach - at once fitting in like a peach in a pie. Says the ever-smiling, Mr. Clean look-alike, “it feels like a house party circa 1965.”
